Discovery sapa tour itinerary 3 day 2 night at homestay trekking by train

Tour Overview

This tour will bring you to Lao Chai, Ta Van, Ban Ho, Su Pan and other villages of the Sapa ethnic minorities.

Day 1: Lao Cai station – Sapa – Lao Chai/Ta Van  (B,L,D)

You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5-7:30 AM.  bus guide and transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast and a shower, you will leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. You will only need to bring a change of clothing, trekking gear and toiletries for your stay at the village homestay.

9 :00 AM you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia.  After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life while staying in a local family's cottage. Overnight at Zay Family  

Day 2: Ta Van – Dzang Ta Chai – Ban Ho (B,L,D)

After having breakfast in the village homestay, you will begin your trek to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. You will have lunch in the village before  continuing  your trek through the amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall. In the afternoon, you will continue your trip to the Tay tribe  of Ban Ho village. You will arrive at a village homestay where you will stay the night with a Tay family and have another authentic dinner. Over night at Tay Family 

Day 3: Ban Ho – Su Pan - Sapa (B,L,D)

After having breakfast in the village homestay, you will trek to Su Pan, the last village you visit on your trip. You will be amongst the terraced rice paddy fields and will have the opportunity for a dip in the river before being picked up for transportation back to Sapa. When you arrive in Sapa, you will have enough time to freshen up with a shower and have dinner in the Sapa Summit Restaurant before catching the bus back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi.

Pick up and transfer by jeep or minibus as tour program.

Fresh shower while  waiting for check in room  or before doing trek  and  before  go to train station
