Sa Pa in enchantment mode as cherry trees bloom

Just seven kilometers away from Sa Pa, the famous mountainous town in the northern province of Lao Cai, the O Quy Ho mountain pass becomes a vantage point at this time to view the incredibly beautiful scenery.

As the first rays of the sun cast their light on the tea gardens, the landscape shines in hues that are a painter`s delight.

Since this is a privately owned garden, travelers can only stand by the O Quy Ho mountain pass to observe the beauty.

The cherry trees sets this tea estate apart from others in Moc Chau in the north and Da Lat in central Vietnam.

From a distance the tea garden looks as if it came out of a fairy tale with the morning mist accentuating its enchantment

Sunshine bathes a lane along the tea hills in gold.

The O Quy Ho mountain pass, 50 kilometers long, connects Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces. The mountain pass is named after the legend of the Love Waterfall, the rendezvous for a fairy and a woodcutter named O Quy Ho.

Trekking Sapa: Things must bring and do

Sapa is always attractive destinations for international visitors. So how to can not miss memorable  when travel to sapa . These small suggestions will help you before travelling Sapa and something you  must put into effect to make sure a memorable Sapa trekking experience

A guide is a must:
There’re both full-day & half-day hikes which you may wish to try without any assistance, nonetheless, if you wish to spend a few days exploring the hillside you must consider appointing a local guide who’s acquainted with the land, the variations of climate, and the most exciting look out spots.
The majority of the tour guides are native & they speak fine English, so hiring them shouldn’t be an issue as far as communication is concerned.

Pack Light:

Don’t consider your guide as a porter in Sapa (this isn’t Everest Base Camp) and he’s not going to carry your heavy luggage. Bring things that you think will be essential. Keep in mind, your bag can't feel bulky when your first try it in your room, but it will only get bulkier as the day progresses.

Bring sturdy shoes:

Your guide may take you “off-the-beaten-track”, quite literally. There will be times when you will scramble up the mountain, hop across ditches and have your bodies strapped by branches as you cut across bamboo forests. It will be very demanding & you will wish to carry sturdy footwear for protection and ease when hiking.

Get used to the touts:

If you are going to spend some days in Sapa, you will see that for the ladies of the Hmong folk touting is a serious business. If you’re thinking the touting will stop as soon as you leave Sapa, think once more. Despite making it clear that you’ve no purpose of buying any more souvenirs, you may find women walking alongside you for hours asking you to buy from them. Their sales tactics are a bit aggressive though.

Bring double the amount of water that you think you will require:

You will get thirsty & you will be gulping water like a camel. It is a terrible feeling realizing you have just drunk the last drop of water from your bottle and there’re still another 3 hours of trekking ahead of you. Though you will pass a few temporary stands selling drinking water as you get closer to the town, but it is always advisable to carry your own.

Don’t forget to bring your camera:

Sapa is one of the naturally serene & lush towns in Vietnam. It entices many tourists with its incredible landscape, which features brilliant tribal villages, French colonial villas, lush vegetation and many green fields stacked on one after another. And if you want to take home memories that are all-natural and beautiful, you must not forget to bring your digital camera that is equipped with a fully charged battery.

Have good trip
